Privacy policy.
Last updated: April 2026
The information you give us belongs to you. We use it for our puja services, and nothing else. We don't sell data, we don't share with ad networks, and we delete it when you no longer need us to keep it.
What information we collect
What you give us:
- Your name
- Phone number (with country code)
- Email address (if you share one)
- The kind of puja or the intention you're contacting us about
- Family details required for the puja itself (such as date of birth, gotra) – only when the vidhi requires it
What we record automatically:
- The browser and device you use to view the site (technical metadata)
- Which pages you visit and how long you stay (anonymously, via Google Analytics)
- Anonymous mouse-movement and scroll patterns (via Microsoft Clarity), so we understand which parts of the site help and where people get stuck. Form inputs are masked – we cannot see what you type
- How you arrived at the site (search, direct, referral, and so on)
What we do with it
- To call or message you back, as you requested
- To arrange and coordinate your puja
- To send receipts and confirmations
- To share photos and prasad details after the puja
- To keep a record of your booking in case you wish to book another puja with us in the future
What we do not do
- Sell your information to advertising networks
- Send you spam calls, messages, or emails
- Share your information with any third party without your consent
- Run repeated marketing campaigns or automated message sequences
When we share information with third parties
Only in these specific situations:
- With our pandits – the minimum information needed for the vidhi (name, gotra, sankalp details)
- With our payment processor (Razorpay) – purely to process the payment. They are PCI DSS certified
- With Google Analytics – anonymous site-usage data, no personal identifiers
- With Microsoft Clarity – anonymous session recordings and heatmap data. Form fields are masked at capture, so what you type (name, phone, message) never reaches Clarity
- If legally required – if Indian law compels us to disclose any information
How long we keep your information
- Lead form information – deleted six months after contact, if no booking is made
- Puja booking records – retained for seven years for legal and tax compliance
- Contact history – kept for two years after the last puja, then removed (unless you reach out again)
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your information (except records we must keep for legal compliance)
- Stop being contacted by us
Just email us at [email protected] and we'll act within seven working days.
Data security
Your information travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Our database sits on Google Cloud, which follows industry-standard security practices. Only a small number of our team members have access to personal data.
Children's privacy
Our services are intended for adults (18+) who can make a booking decision. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we make a significant change, we'll post a notice on the site and email anyone whose email we have. The current version is always available on this page.
In plain words
Your information is yours. We treat it the way a small family would – carefully, and only for the purpose you handed it over for.
Have a question?
Anything about this policy, just reach out directly. We answer ourselves.
