No surprises, ever.
The full puja price is finalised on the call itself, openly. A 10% advance to confirm the booking. The remaining 90% before the puja begins. A complete receipt for every payment. No hidden charges.
How payment works
Every Aastha booking is paid in two parts. The amount agreed on the call is the final amount – nothing changes at the last moment, no extra requests on the day of the puja.
Paid when you confirm the booking. Locks your slot, reserves the pandit, and starts the preparation. Carries forward as credit if you reschedule.
Paid 3 to 4 hours before the puja begins. The puja starts only once this is settled, so the ritual itself stays calm and undistracted.
For the full refund, reschedule, and cancellation rules tied to these two payments, see our refund policy.
Accepted payment methods
For Indian clients, we keep things simple – UPI and bank transfer are our two preferred methods. They settle quickly, cost nothing extra, and work for both the booking advance and the balance. For NRI clients based outside India, we accept SWIFT transfers.
UPI Preferred for India
- Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and any UPI app
- Pay to our verified UPI ID, shared on the call
- Instant settlement, no extra fees
Bank transfer (NEFT / IMPS / RTGS) Preferred for India
- Direct transfer to our bank account
- Account details shared on the call after booking is confirmed
- NEFT typically settles within a few hours, IMPS is instant
SWIFT transfer For NRI clients
- For NRI clients sending payment from outside India
- SWIFT details and IBAN shared on request
- Typically clears in 2 to 5 working days
Pricing transparency
We have no hidden charges. The amount we quote on the call covers the puja, samagri, pandit dakshina, and our coordination – with nothing added later.
The amount agreed at the time of booking is final. The pandit will not ask you for additional money on the day of the puja. Whatever is pre-decided is what it stays.
Receipts
A digital receipt for every payment is sent to you on both email and WhatsApp – one when the 10% advance is received, another when the balance is settled.
For international clients
NRI families based in the US, UK, Canada, Singapore, Australia, UAE, and most major countries can pay through SWIFT transfer. Amounts are quoted in Indian rupees (INR), and your bank handles the currency conversion at its prevailing rate.
Please allow a few extra days of buffer before the puja date so the transfer has time to clear.
Security
Your money and your details are handled carefully:
- UPI is processed entirely through your own UPI app. We never see your bank credentials, OTPs, or PINs.
- Bank transfers go directly bank-to-bank, with no intermediate processing on our side. Account details are shared with you on the call once the booking is confirmed.
- Your contact details are kept private as per our privacy policy. No name, photo, or transaction information is shared with anyone outside our team without your explicit consent.
In plain words
Talk first. Understand the puja, the pandit, the cost. Decide. A small 10% advance locks the booking. The rest comes right before the puja. Nothing surprises you along the way.
